Port of Southampton
As one of the most iconic ports in ocean liner history, Southampton served both Cunard and White Star ships throughout the bulk of the early 1900’s. Acting as the home of liner legends such as Titanic and Queen Mary, we would be remiss to not include this port as a very important chapter in maritime history.
In 1950, the Southampton Ocean Terminal was constructed in the unmistakable Art Deco style, in order to better represent the legendary liners that frequented her waters. This bustling terminal was one of the most well-appointed of its day, offering only the latest and greatest in modern amenities to passengers. In GRAND VOYAGE, you will first experience Southampton as part of the story of TSMS Lakonia, a representative of the Greek Line which also ran service to the Ocean Terminal during the ‘60s.
Just like the other ports represented in the game, you will find that our team has spared no effort to bring this historic landmark back to life as it looked at the height of its era. As one of the only ports that could truly match the splendor of the world’s most magnificent vessels, the Southampton Ocean Terminal has become a true labor of love for our team that we can’t wait to share with you!
